What is happening at Fujairah
Latest updates →Fujairah, on the UAE's east coast just outside the strait, is the outlet of the Habshan–Fujairah pipeline, which lets UAE crude bypass the strait. The line is rated at 1.5 million barrels a day and loaded 1.82 million b/d in April 2026 (Kpler). Together with Saudi Arabia's East-West line, the EIA puts bypass capacity at about 4.7 million b/d (EIA, 3 Mar 2026), against about 20.9 million b/d that crossed the strait in the first half of 2025.
